I don’t think iSanare even accepts articles anymore, and hasn’t for a long time. GoArticles? I wouldn’t submit to that website at all, its spammed to death. If your going to write quality writings I wouldn’t submit to any to these websites. I personally like the smaller article directories that have very strict editorial guidelines such as http://www.acme-articles.com.
Sometimes the pagerank and alexa rank is not as good as the larger directories, but that doesn’t mean they won’t pull more SEO benefit. You’ll likely have a better chance at developing actual PR on an article page on smaller “strict” article directories, internal pagerank that is. You’ll have even a better chance by submitting articles to main category folders rather then subcategory folders.

Out of your list I rather liked articlealley and articlesbase whenever I do use free articles. As I said to Mr. Jones, I have a profile at GOArticles. The others mentioned on the list above, I have not tried. But I’ll take a peek! Glad I found this post.
No doubt Articlebase.com is a good choice. You can also give a try to Ezinemark and Sooperarticles 🙂

GoArticles is spammed to death? Yep! That figures! All the free article directories on the Internet and I pick the one that gets spammed to death! I try to ignore the “black-ish gray cloud” that follows me around by my oh my it is a persistent bugger! Had an account with that site for a long time. Just went back and added two articles. There’s 3 articles there right now. What do you recommend, Mr. Jones? Should I yank them and put them at another free article site? Or just leave them where they are? At the rate I’m going, with articles being ignored anyway – one burial ground is just as good as another. Personally, I think nobody uses the GoArticles site is because searching for an article at the site is not easy at all! A person would give up after a few tries and then go somewhere else!
